Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: October 17, 2026

The short version: Some links on Gravity Ranger are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. It never changes what we say about a product.

1. How affiliate links work here

Some links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something, the vendor may pay us a commission. You pay the same price, and sometimes less when we have a discount code. Commissions help keep the free tutorials free.

Affiliate links on Gravity Ranger include:

  • Links in tutorials and reviews to add-ons, hosting, and other tools.
  • “Get” and “Download” buttons in the add-on directory, marked “Affiliate link: we may earn a commission.”
  • Banners labeled “Advertisement.” These are affiliate promotions for products we’ve chosen. Nobody pays to place them. They aren’t shown to Insider Plus or Elite members.
  • Short links on our site that start with /click/, which forward to the vendor’s site with our affiliate code.

Every post that may contain affiliate links shows a notice near the top.

2. Our editorial rules

  • Opinions are our own. No company pays for a review, a positive opinion, or a place in our content.
  • Reviews come from use. When we review or recommend a product, we’ve used or tested it. If we got a free license or demo to do that, we say so in the article.
  • Commission doesn’t decide what we recommend. We recommend products without affiliate programs too, and we’ll tell you when a free option is good enough.
  • Directory listings aren’t reviews. The add-on directory lists add-ons that are actively maintained, whether or not they have an affiliate program. Listing pages are written from each developer’s own published information and aren’t a personal recommendation. Being listed, and the order of listings, isn’t affected by whether we earn a commission.

3. Who earns the commission

Affiliate relationships are held by WP Mantis LLC, which operates Gravity Ranger.

4. Disclosure standards

We aim to meet the U.S. Federal Trade Commission’s Endorsement Guides and similar rules elsewhere, including UK Competition and Markets Authority guidance and EU consumer protection law. In short: clear disclosure wherever affiliate links or advertisements appear.
