So, over the past few Gravity Forms releases, some subtle yet great little features have been added, and I suspect many users aren’t even aware they are there. And there are some long-term settings that few areas are aware of, and I wanted to point them out.
#1 Checkbox and Radio Button Choice Layouts
With the depreciation of legacy markup, a new setting has been added to the Appearance section for these field types. The ability to display the choices in Columns.
#2 The Multi Choice Field Has Alignment Too
This is a newer field type for choice-based fields, but it also supports adjusting choice alignment.
#3 Address Auto Populate Based on Other Address Field
So, if you have a form that asks for Billing Address and Mailing Address, you can enable the “Same as previous” feature. When that is selected, the fields will automatically be populated and hidden. No more wasting time populating two address fields.
#4 Progress Bar Color Styles
Within the form editor, when using the page break field, you have the ability to change the progress bar color with a dropdown selection or custom settings. To access these settings, click the Start Paging field.
Your Thoughts?
I’d love to know if you knew about these features and have ever used them. If you haven’t, do you think you will in the future?
