Contract Signing with Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow

Build a contract signing workflow on your own WordPress site: a draft PDF, your signature, your client's signature and a fully signed PDF emailed to both of you.

Paid e-signature tools charge per seat or per envelope. If you already run Gravity Forms and Gravity Flow, you can build a contract signing workflow on your own site and keep every signed contract with you.

In this class we build it start to finish. You fill in a contract form, a draft PDF is generated, you sign, your client signs from an emailed link (no account needed), and a signed PDF with both signatures and an audit trail lands in both inboxes.

What you’ll learn

  • How to keep signature fields hidden until the right person’s step comes up
  • How to build contract PDFs with the Gravity Flow PDF Generator, using merge tags for the details
  • How to send a step to someone who doesn’t have a WordPress account
  • How to get signature images to show up inside the PDF
  • The settings that trip people up, and how to test everything before a real client sees it

What you need

  • Gravity Forms with the Signature Add-On
  • Gravity Flow with the PDF Generator extension
  • PHP 8.0 or newer
  • A short code snippet, provided in the class

This class is written as step-by-step tutorials with screenshots. The finished form, with its workflow steps, is in the Resources tab, so you can import it and follow along.
