WPForms to Gravity Forms Migrator
Move your existing WPForms forms into Gravity Forms automatically, with fields, notifications, and confirmations carried over.
What it does
If you are switching from WPForms to Gravity Forms, rebuilding every form by hand takes time you may not have. This add-on scans your WordPress database for WPForms forms and converts them into Gravity Forms forms in a few clicks.
It carries over field labels, placeholders, required settings, CSS classes, notifications, confirmations, and smart tags. You can preview exactly how each form will look before you commit to importing it. Bulk import lets you move everything at once, or you can migrate forms one at a time.
It works even if WPForms has already been deactivated, as long as the form data is still in your database. Note that existing WPForms entries, conditional logic, and shortcodes in posts or pages are not migrated.
Key features
- Scans your site for WPForms Lite and Pro forms automatically
- Preview the converted form structure before importing
- Import one form at a time or all forms at once
- Converts a wide range of field types to their Gravity Forms equivalents
- Migrates notifications and confirmations including smart tag content
- Tracks which forms have already been imported and shows their Gravity Forms form ID
- Works even after WPForms is deactivated, as long as data remains in the database
Good for
Written from Gravity Forms’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.
Are existing WPForms entries migrated?
No, only form structure and configuration are migrated. Existing submissions are not carried over.
Does WPForms need to be active for the migration to work?
No, the plugin can migrate forms as long as the WPForms data still exists in your WordPress database, even if WPForms itself is deactivated.
Is conditional logic migrated?
No, conditional logic on fields and notifications is not currently migrated.
What happens if I import the same form twice?
A new Gravity Forms form is created each time. The plugin tracks previous imports and shows you the related form ID, but re-importing does not update the earlier import.
