What it does

Spam bots and automated scripts can flood your forms with junk submissions. This add-on lets you protect any Gravity Form using Friendly Captcha, a privacy-focused verification method that works without image puzzles, audio challenges, or HTTP cookies.

You add a Friendly Captcha field to your form from the Advanced Fields panel. When a visitor submits the form, the add-on sends the challenge response to Friendly Captcha's servers for verification before Gravity Forms accepts the entry. The captcha token is never saved with the entry.

It suits organizations that need GDPR compliance and WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility certification. You can control the widget theme, when the challenge starts, and whether the submit button stays disabled until verification is done—either globally or per form.

Yes. You need a Friendly Captcha account, a v2 site key, and an API key to connect the add-on.

Can I override global settings for a specific form?

Yes. You can override the widget theme and start mode at the individual field level.

Is the captcha token saved with the form entry?
