Gravity Wix has just released a brand new perk, Gravity Forms Notifications Scheduler, and it is amazing.

Here’s how you can use scheduled notifications to level up your business!

• Create robust drip campaigns to onboard new customers or nurture fresh leads.
• Send yearly offers to existing users on their birthday, signup anniversary, or any other recurring event.
• Schedule reminders ahead of the big event with helpful tips for a satisfying experience.
• Remind customers when their subscription or credit card is expiring.

Known Limitations

No Unsubscribe Feature

I have been assured that this is at the top of their list to be added.

However, as a workaround, you can add am Unsubscribe link to the notification message that that takes the user to a form where they can enter their email address to be “removed from the list”.

Doesn’t Replace the “Mailchipms”, YET!

As of right now, this new add-on does not provide enough functionality to be able to replace the use of third-party email services like Mailchimp or Convertkit.

Unless you’re using them for very basic email campaigns or one-off emails.

Alternative Solution

There is another add-on, that has been on the mark for a while now that I mention in the video, Gravity Forms Delayed Email Notifications.

Truth is, I don’t have much confidence in the developers of this add-on, which I also mention in the video.

When Gravity Forms 2.5 rolled out the plugin author was not ready and their plugin did not support 2.5, and as a result, any user that updated Gravity Forms could no longer use their delayed notifications.

The really frustrating bit, it took them months to release a version of their plugin that supported Gravity Forms 2.5. They should have used the beta release period to get ready for such a major release.

Gravity Wiz is a certified Gravity Forms developer, which means they are held to a higher standard, but they have also proven themselves as reliable and dedicated to creating and supporting quality products.

Pro Tip

If you’re going to use a solution like this for a client site, I’d highly recommend that you also use a plugin like GravityHopper Form Integrity.

This plugin will help reduce the chances that your client deactivates or deletes a plugin that is essential to your forms to work as expected.
