Symptoms
You’ve set up a payment form with an option to pay with cash, check, or credit card, but when the user selects the option to pay with cash or check, you get an error even though the credit card field is hidden with conditional logic.
Here are what others have experienced:
We are trying to create one workshop registration form with two options for payment: pay with check and pay with a credit card. We have only be able to make registration work by creating two forms and this causing registration management problems for us.
I have a conversational form where the user can select Check Or Credit Card to make a payment. When users select Check they are suppose to be able to click submit. However the form is not submitting at the end and giving error.
How To Fix It
The short answer is that you need to add conditional logic to the payment add-on feed so that it is only processed when the user selects the option to pay with credit card. Stripe is used in the image below, but this applies to all payment add-ons.
