GravityWP – CSS Selector
Add a CSS class picker to the Gravity Forms editor so you can apply custom and add-on classes without memorizing names.
What it does
Applying CSS classes to Gravity Forms fields normally means typing class names by hand in a small text box, which is easy to get wrong. This free add-on places a picker button next to that field so you can choose classes from a list instead.
You manage your class library under Forms > Settings > CSS Selector with no PHP required. You can give each class a label, description, and group. The picker also shows classes already used on other fields in the same form, with counts and tooltips so you can stay consistent.
It includes built-in shortcuts for Gravity PDF (exclude a field or start a new PDF page) and Gravity Wiz Copy Cat. On Gravity Forms versions before 3.0, legacy Ready Classes are still available in the picker.
Key features
- Picker button next to the CSS Class field in the form editor
- No-code class library with labels, descriptions, and groups under Forms > Settings
- Shows classes used on other fields in the current form with usage counts and tooltips
- Built-in Gravity PDF shortcuts: exclude a field or start a new PDF page
- Gravity Wiz Copy Cat shortcut for copying field values
- Double-click a class to add it and close the picker automatically
- Extend the picker with your own custom class buttons via a filter in functions.php
Good for
Written from GravityWP’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.
Is this add-on free?
Yes, it is free for both existing and new users.
Do I need to know PHP to manage the class library?
No, you manage classes under Forms > Settings > CSS Selector in the WordPress admin with no coding required.
What happens to my saved classes if I remove a shortcut from the library?
Removing a shortcut from the library does not change or remove classes already saved on your fields.
Why don't I see Ready Classes on Gravity Forms 3.0?
Ready Classes are legacy functionality hidden on Gravity Forms 3.0 and later. Use the native Choice Layout settings for radio and checkbox layouts instead.
