Discord
Send Gravity Forms submissions to Discord channels as rich embeds using Incoming Webhooks.
What it does
When someone submits a form, your team usually has to check entries manually or set up custom notification code. This add-on removes that step by posting form data directly to a Discord channel the moment a submission arrives.
You create a feed inside Gravity Forms, paste in a Discord Incoming Webhook URL, map your form fields into an embed layout, and optionally add conditional logic so only certain submissions get posted. The add-on handles delivery in the background so the form submitter never waits on Discord's response time.
It suits any team that already communicates in Discord and wants to see lead alerts, support requests, job applications, or event registrations appear there automatically without building custom integrations.
Key features
- Post form submissions to Discord channels as rich embeds with titles, descriptions, colors, and mapped fields
- Map Gravity Forms fields and merge tags into embed layout
- Use conditional logic to control which submissions trigger a Discord message
- Process webhook delivery asynchronously so form redirects are not delayed
- Automatically retry failed deliveries, including Discord rate-limit responses
- Track delivery status per entry and log each attempt in entry notes
- Resend individual entries or bulk-resend from the entries list, plus a built-in test send button
Good for
Written from Gravity Forms’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.
Do I need any coding skills to set this up?
No. You configure everything inside the standard Gravity Forms feed settings screen—paste your webhook URL, map your fields, and save.
Can I send only certain submissions to Discord?
Yes. Each feed supports Gravity Forms conditional logic, so you can filter by field values before a message is sent.
What happens if Discord is temporarily unavailable?
The add-on retries failed deliveries automatically using WP-Cron with backoff, and it respects Discord's Retry-After header when rate limited.
Can I verify my setup before the form goes live?
Yes. A Send Test button on the feed settings page sends a test message using your most recent entry or generated sample data.
