eCommerce Fields
Add Tax, Discount, and Subtotal fields to Gravity Forms that calculate live as shoppers fill out your form.
What it does
Gravity Forms handles basic product fields, but it doesn't give you a dedicated Tax field, a Discount field, or a way to subtotal just part of an order. eCommerce Fields fills those gaps so you can build a complete order form without workarounds.
You add the fields you need — Tax, Discount, Subtotal — and they calculate in real time as someone fills out the form. Built-in Gravity Forms Coupon and Shipping fields keep working correctly alongside them. Coupons automatically skip shipping when reducing the taxable amount, and shipping stays out of subtotals and discounts while still counting toward tax and the grand total.
It suits anyone who needs tax-compliant order forms, group discounts, or auto-calculated subtotals for specific products — from event registrations to invoices.
Key features
- Tax field applies a percentage to the whole order, specific products, or all products except ones you exclude — add multiple Tax fields for separate rates
- Discount field subtracts a flat amount or percentage from the order or specific products, with optional rules (e.g., 10% off when three or more of a product are added)
- Subtotal field totals a group of products separately from the rest of the order
- Coupon and Shipping fields work correctly — coupons reduce taxable amounts and skip shipping automatically
- {order_summary} merge tag prints a full order breakdown (products, discounts, tax, shipping, grand total) in confirmations or notifications
- Calculation merge tags let you reference subtotal, discount, or coupon totals elsewhere on the form
- Compatible with Advanced Calculations for more complex formulas

Does it work with the built-in Gravity Forms Coupon and Shipping fields?
Yes. Coupons automatically skip shipping and reduce the taxable amount. Shipping stays out of subtotals and discounts but still counts toward tax and the order total.
Can I apply different tax rates to different products?
Yes. You can add more than one Tax field, each with its own rate, and apply each to the whole order or to specific products only.
Can I show a full order summary in the confirmation email?
Yes. Add the {order_summary} merge tag to any confirmation or notification to print products, discounts, tax, shipping, and the grand total.
Is eCommerce Fields sold on its own?
It is part of the Gravity Perks suite, which includes 48+ Gravity Forms plugins from Gravity Wiz.
