What it does

By default, Gravity Forms stores submissions in the WordPress admin and gives visitors no way to see or interact with that data. GravityView adds a front-end layer so you can turn those entries into directories, dashboards, member profiles, job boards, and more.

You build a View using a drag-and-drop editor, pick a layout, choose which fields to show, and publish. Visitors can then search, filter, and—if you allow it—edit their own submissions right on the page. An approval system lets you hold entries for moderation before they go live.

GravityView suits freelancers, agencies, and businesses that need a data-driven site without hiring a developer. It also supports hundreds of hooks and filters for teams that want to go further with code.

Key features

  • Drag-and-drop View builder with pre-built layouts and a Vantage card theme
  • Front-end entry editing and deletion for logged-in users
  • Entry approval workflow—manual or automatic—before entries appear publicly
  • Bulk actions on table Views: approve, delete, edit fields, resend notifications, or export
  • Granular user-role permissions controlling which entries and fields each user can access
  • Advanced search and filtering to let visitors find the right entries
  • AI assistant support via GravityKit MCP server to build Views from a plain-language description

Do I need to write code to use GravityView?

No. The drag-and-drop builder and pre-built layouts cover most use cases without any code. Developers can also use hooks, filters, and template overrides for deeper customization.

Can I control which entries appear publicly?

Yes. The built-in approval system lets you hold new entries for moderation and publish them manually or automatically.

Can I export entries from a View?

Yes. You can export selected entries to CSV directly from a table View on the front end.
