Limit Dates
Limit which dates users can pick in Gravity Forms Date Picker fields using rules, ranges, and day filters.
What it does
By default, Gravity Forms lets users pick any date in the date picker. That's a problem when you need to block past dates, future dates, weekends, or specific days that don't apply to your use case.
Limit Dates lets you set a minimum and maximum selectable date — based on a fixed date, today's date, or the value of another Date field. You can also block or allow specific days of the week, and add exceptions for individual dates.
It's useful for any form where the date a user picks needs to follow a rule — delivery windows, event registrations, leave requests, or incident reports.
Key features
- Set a minimum or maximum selectable date using a fixed date, today, or another Date field
- Link two Date fields so the first selection controls the earliest date in the second
- Restrict by day of the week — weekdays only, weekends only, or any custom combination
- Add exceptions to make specific dates available or unavailable
- Set relative date limits, like requiring a date at least two weekdays from today
Good for
Written from Gravity Wiz’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.
Can I link a start date field to an end date field?
Yes. You can set one Date field's value as the earliest selectable date in a second Date field, which works well for check-in and check-out style forms.
Can I set limits relative to today rather than a fixed date?
Yes. You can set the minimum or maximum date based on the current date — for example, requiring a delivery date at least two weekdays from now.
Is Limit Dates a standalone plugin?
No. It is part of the Gravity Perks suite, which includes 48+ add-ons for Gravity Forms.
Is there a money-back guarantee?
Yes. Gravity Perks comes with a 30-day 100% money-back guarantee.
