What it does

Long forms can overwhelm users and lead to low completion rates. Collapsible Sections lets you break a large Gravity Forms form into accordion-style groups so users see only what they need at a time.

You work with the existing Section Break fields already in Gravity Forms. Just mark a section field as the start or end of a collapsible group, and the plugin handles the rest. You can mix collapsible and normal sections in the same form.

This add-on is a good fit for anyone running long registration, application, or survey forms who wants to reduce friction without switching to a multi-page layout.

Key features

  • Turn existing Section Break fields into collapsible accordions
  • Set any section field as the start or end of a collapsible group
  • Mix collapsible and standard sections in the same form
  • Works with new forms and existing forms without rebuilding them
  • Nest default section fields inside collapsible groups

Good for

Long application formsGroup related fields into collapsible sections so applicants aren't overwhelmed by a wall of inputs.
Survey or registration formsLet users expand only the sections relevant to them, keeping the form feeling short.
Complex multi-topic formsOrganize fields by topic into accordions without switching to a multi-page form.

Do I need to rebuild my existing forms to use this?

No. You can update existing Section Break fields in your current forms to activate the collapsible functionality.

Can I mix collapsible sections with normal sections in the same form?

Yes. You can set individual section fields to start a collapsible group, end one, or behave as a regular section field.

Is this the same as a multi-page form?

No. The form stays on one page; fields are simply grouped into expandable accordion panels.
