Giveaway

Run randomized winner drawings from your Gravity Forms entries directly inside the WordPress admin.

by Gravity Forms Paid Official Updated Jul 15, 2026

What it does

Picking winners from form submissions usually means exporting data to a spreadsheet or a separate tool. This add-on keeps everything inside WordPress by turning your Gravity Forms entries into a drawing pool you can manage from the admin dashboard.

You enable giveaway mode on a specific form, set rules for which entries qualify, choose how many winners to draw, and then run the drawing. Winners are selected randomly from eligible entries, and previously drawn entries are never picked again in future rounds for the same form.

It suits promotions, prize drawings, live events, or any situation where you collect entries through a Gravity Form and need a fair, trackable way to select winners.

Key features

  • Enable giveaway mode per form with its own settings
  • Define qualifying fields so only complete entries enter the pool
  • Filter the eligible pool by submission date range
  • Draw multiple winners per round using standard or cryptographically secure randomization
  • Automatically exclude previously drawn entries from future rounds
  • Mark winners as confirmed or no-show after each draw
  • Review full draw history with round numbers, timestamps, and confirmation status

Good for

Contest promotionsCollect entries via a form and draw random winners without leaving WordPress.
Live event prize drawsRun on-the-spot drawings and immediately confirm or mark winners as no-show.
Date-limited campaignsRestrict the entry pool to a specific submission window for time-bound giveaways.

Written from Gravity Forms’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.

Can the same person win more than once?

No. Entries that have already been drawn are automatically excluded from all future rounds for that form.

How are winners chosen randomly?

You can choose between standard PHP shuffle or a cryptographically secure method using random_int(), which provides stronger randomness but is slower.

Can I set different rules for different forms?

Yes. Each form has its own giveaway settings, including qualifying fields, display name fields, winner count, and date range filter.

Where is draw history stored?

Results are saved to a custom database table created on activation. You can review previous rounds, timestamps, and confirmation status from the admin at any time.
