What it does

If you have data sitting in a spreadsheet or another system, getting it into Gravity Forms manually is tedious. GravityImport lets you upload a CSV file, map its columns to your form fields, and bring thousands of entries into Gravity Forms in one go.

You don't need a form already set up. If you upload a CSV without an existing form, GravityImport can automatically create one for you. You can also update entries that already exist by including an Entry ID column in your CSV. Rows that fail validation are flagged and can be exported as a separate CSV so you can fix and re-import them.

This add-on is built for developers, agencies, and site owners who need to migrate data, consolidate records, or keep Gravity Forms entries in sync with outside data sources—without writing custom code.

Key features

  • Upload any CSV and map columns to Gravity Forms fields without reformatting
  • Auto-create a new Gravity Forms form directly from your CSV data
  • Update existing entries by including an Entry ID column
  • Import files attached to File Upload fields, re-uploading them automatically
  • Validate rows before import and export failed rows as a CSV for review
  • Run Gravity Forms add-on feeds during the import process
  • Handle large CSVs with thousands of rows without performance issues

Does my CSV need to be in a specific format?

No. You can upload any CSV and then map its columns to the correct fields in your form.

Can I update entries that already exist in Gravity Forms?

Yes. Include a column with the Entry ID of each entry you want to modify and GravityImport will update those entries during import.

Can I import files that were uploaded through a Gravity Forms File Upload field?

Yes. GravityImport downloads the files from the source site and re-uploads them as part of the import.

Can I import from the front end of my website?

Not yet. Imports currently run from inside the WordPress dashboard and require admin access.
