n8n
Send Gravity Forms submissions to n8n workflows via webhooks, with conditional logic, retries, and response mapping—no custom code needed.
What it does
When a form is submitted, you often need that data to trigger actions in other tools. Without an integration, you'd have to write custom code or build fragile workarounds to get form entries into an automation platform like n8n.
This add-on lets you create webhook feeds on any Gravity Form. When someone submits the form, the entry data is sent automatically to an n8n workflow—either on n8n Cloud or a self-hosted instance. You can paste a webhook URL directly or connect your n8n account to pick workflows from a dropdown in WordPress. If a delivery fails, the add-on retries automatically using exponential backoff.
It's a good fit for site owners who already use n8n to automate tasks and want form submissions to feed into those workflows without writing PHP or JavaScript.
Key features
- Send form entries to n8n Cloud or self-hosted n8n via webhook feeds
- Create multiple feeds per form, each with its own conditional logic
- Choose JSON or form-encoded payloads; send all entry data or mapped fields only
- Authenticate with Header Auth, Basic Auth, HMAC signing, or custom headers
- Retry failed deliveries automatically; view and resend from the entry screen or in bulk
- Map JSON response values from n8n back into Gravity Forms entry fields or entry meta
- Test webhook delivery directly from feed settings before going live
Good for
Written from Gravity Forms’s own listing. Version and dates come straight from the source and are checked weekly.
Do I need an n8n API key to use this add-on?
No. You can paste webhook URLs directly into each feed without an API key. The API key is optional and only needed if you want to pick workflows from a dropdown in the WordPress admin.
Does it work with self-hosted n8n?
Yes. You can connect to either n8n Cloud or a self-hosted n8n instance by entering your base URL in the plugin settings.
What happens if a webhook delivery fails?
The add-on retries automatically using exponential backoff via WP-Cron. You can also resend individual entries or use a bulk resend action from the entries list.
What are the minimum requirements?
You need WordPress 6.5+, PHP 7.4+, Gravity Forms 2.9.24+, and n8n 1.x. WP-Cron should be enabled for automatic retries.
