Submit to Access
Gate posts, pages, and blocks behind a Gravity Forms submission without requiring user accounts.
What it does
Many sites need to restrict content to people who have taken a specific action—filled out a lead form, paid, or completed a survey—but setting up full membership accounts just for that is overkill. Submit to Access lets you protect content and reveal it only after someone submits a chosen form.
You enable gating with a toggle in the Block or Classic editor, or via shortcode. Before submission, visitors see a custom message and the form. After they submit, the content unlocks according to rules you set: for a browser session, a timed interval, or permanently.
It works well for lead magnets, paywalled articles, RSVP resources, quiz results, and multi-step content flows. Because it works with payment-enabled forms, you can sell access to content without building a membership system.
Key features
- Gate entire pages, individual Gutenberg blocks, or any area via shortcode
- Show a custom pre-submission message, the form, or redirect visitors to a separate form page
- Control access duration: browser session, timed interval, or permanent
- Require a unique submission per page or allow one submission to unlock multiple pages
- Use multiple forms as keys for the same gated content
- Redirect users back to the original page after submission using the Gravity Forms referrer merge tag
- Works with payment-enabled forms to create a simple paywall without user accounts

Do visitors need a WordPress account to access gated content?
No. Access is granted based on form submission alone, with no user account required.
Can I gate individual blocks rather than a whole page?
Yes. You can gate entire pages or individual blocks in the Block editor, and any area via shortcode.
How long does access last after someone submits?
You choose: access can last for the browser session, a set time interval, or forever.
Can one form submission unlock several different pages?
Yes. You can configure a single submission to grant access to multiple pages, or require a separate submission for each page.
